If you have a weak area or two, admit what they are and work on them. While practicing what you are already good at might make you feel better, it does not actually make you better.
Do you avoid your backhand? Do you get to the net quicker than your second serve?
...you get the idea.
Small improvements in form can make big improvements in your results. If you and your partner both beef up your respective weak areas the effect is magnified. I see so many players every day at lessons who want to learn topspin lobs, drop shots, etc. But I say as important as those shots might be for some people, if your basics are lacking, WORK ON THEM!
