Did you know? Scott has been teaching for 22 years. He grew up in Connecticut - was two time high school state champion - and was ranked in the top 75 nationally as a junior player. Scott played college tennis at Wake Forest University. He graduated in 1986

During his career, Scott has run facilities in Connecticut, New Jersey, North Carolina and Louisiana. He was an assistant coach at Tulane University and Head Coach at Nicholls State University. Scott ran the largest Junior program in the New Orleans area for 10 years as well as the largest Summer Camp program.

Scott has coached many state and nationally ranked juniors - some that have moved on to D1 college tennis. He has been the coordinator for junior team tennis, worked many school initiative programs and has been responsible for thousands of kids being introduced to tennis.

Scott worked extensively with USTA adult teams from the 2.5 to 4.5 levels. Many have gone on to both state and sectional rounds.

Scott's style is very energetic and upbeat! He enjoys working with large groups but can work individually with any level. In his words, "...my passion for the game is always present on the court - and my biggest strength is improvement through repetition and the opportunity to challenge and test your skills against all levels of play. My passion, dedication and success with junior tennis is unmatched. I know I will help Roger Scott to become the hub for all levels of junior play."
