Tennis-4-Everyone, Inc. (T4E) is a nonprofit organization founded in 2001 that provides year-round tennis instruction and academic tutoring throughout the school year to youth in the Pensacola area.

Children attending summer camps at community centers in the Pensacola area such as Bayview (YMCA), Cobb Center, Salvation Army, Fricker Center, and Gull Point receive free tennis instruction. Tennis-4-Everyone coaches and volunteers utilize the United States Tennis Association's "Quickstart" format, the latest method of teaching young beginners. Quickstart's lighter racquets and decompressed balls allow for extended rallies almost immediately even for beginners. Fun is had right away, and children learn to love the sport of tennis - a healthy hobby that can be enjoyed for a lifetime!

Each August, several participants are chosen for their enthusiasm as well as their talent to receive "tennis scholarships" in the form of free tennis lessons on Saturdays throughout the school year. All campers also have the opportunity to enter the Arthur Ashe Essay & Art Contest and a chance to win a trip to the U.S. Open Tennis Grand Slam event in NYC!

Tennis-4-Everyone volunteer tutors and mentors work throughout the school-year with kids in community center after-care programs. Assistance with daily homework, studying and remedial practice is provided. After schoolwork is finished, the kids get to enjoy some tennis instruction and play with their friends as a reward for a job well done!

Every year, Tennis-4-Everyone introduces over 200 children to the fun and healthy sport of tennis. Studies have shown that kids who participate in sports are less likely to turn to unhealthy and dangerous alternatives in their teen years, such as drugs, gangs and other criminal activities.
