First Annual B.I.G. Puzzle Piece Doubles Tournament A Big Success
The First Annual B.I.G. (Biomedical Intervention Group) Puzzle Piece Men's and Women's Doubles Tennis Tournament (formerly "The Ryan's Puzzle Tennis Tournament") was held Saturday, March 6, 2010 on an absolutely gorgeous day at Roger Scott Tennis Center in Pensacola, Fl. Twenty-six men's and 44 women's teams competed in this year's tourney. All eight divisions played a round robin format and everyone played at least three matches. The tournament netted in the neighborhood of $10,000 for the B.I.G. Autism Foundation.

Players enjoyed terrific barbecue from Jerry Mock's Catering and refreshments by Safelite Auto Glass. A raffle, door prizes and a silent auction were among the fun activities at the tourney in addition to really some REALLY great tennis. Included in the Silent Auction were wine baskets, personal training certificates, a tennis racket, a Destin weekend, dinner certificates a local restaurants and lessons with various area tennis pros (I think Paul won a lesson with himself :-) ... kidding).
