January 2012 Pensacola Has a New Sanctioned Tournament!! ...The champs of the weekend were the Women's 8.5 team. There's been a big change to the Northwest Florida USTA sanctioned tournament schedule. The Bluewater Bay Tournament was cancelled and the Hidden Dunes tournament is not scheduled this year, so they've added the Pensacola Adult Clay Court Championship as a designated tournament on the same weekend that the Bluewater Bay tournament was originally scheduled - Feb 16-19 ... read more...   January 2012 The Escambia Men's 9.5 Combo team are the 2011 Champions!! Derrick Racine (capt), Brock Sakey, Mansfield Coe, Jonathan Sloan, Brian Sakey, Rick Davis, Chris Bloomberg, Daniel Herman, Dixon Harold Abell, Buddy Gonzalez, Iain Pound, and Erik Stenberg. CONGRATULATIONS GUYS!!   January 2012 Escambia Ladies 8.5 are the 2011 Senior Combo Sectional Champions!! ...The champs of the weekend were the Women's 8.5 team. They went undefeated among their four team division defeating Pinnelas 2-1, Marion 3-0 and Hillsborough 2-1. In the last match against Hillsborough, all three matches went to the third set tiebreaker. In addition to Captain Mary Day, Penny Emling, Ginny Graybiel, Jean Lee, Beverly Patteson, Diana Waters, Retsy Wilson and Debbie Wroten all brought the heat for Escambia county.
